W Maher and sons operate one of the largest and modern fleets of Tipper Vehicles within the North West.

The company operates according to the principles contained in its environmental policy and follows strict management procedures in order to ensure full compliance to safeguard the reputation of W Maher and Sons Ltd and its clients. We are committed to operating our business responsibly and in compliance with environmental legislation, putting people and our environment first.

With this in mind we operate the latest Euro 5 low emission engines available to the market. Our ongoing investment in our modern fleet of equipment highlights the technological advances that significantly improve safety, whilst dramatically improves efficiency and reduces emissions.

All our HGV drivers have undergone a Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving training course (SAFED) within the last 12 months.

W Maher and Sons Ltd have an extensive range of heavy civil engineering plant which includes tracked and wheeled 360-degree excavators, dozers, tracked loading shovels, articulated dump trucks and crushing plant.

All plant servicing is conducted by an external source to ensure optimum performance levels are maintained whilst reducing unnecessary downtime.

W Maher & Sons strongly believe in owning plant and equipment as it allows maximum flexibility to our contracting team and demonstrates long-term sustainability within the industry.
